Selon Middle East Eye, Sa’ar a également accusé la Grande-Bretagne de geler le « dialogue militaire et la coopération en matière de sécurité », mais le gouvernement britannique a refusé de commenter. Le Times a rapporté qu’Israël n’expulserait pas les diplomates britanniques ni leurs familles. Des rapports antérieurs indiquaient que Londres avait menacé d’expulser 30 diplomates israéliens en réponse, mais la Grande-Bretagne a ensuite déclaré qu’elle ne prendrait pas de mesures de représailles diplomatiques.
