Британские «зеленые» признали сионизм расизмом; Израиль запретил въезд лидеру партии

Партия зеленых Англии и Уэльса на конференции в Брайтоне 4 октября приняла резолюцию, объявляющую сионизм формой расизма. За документ проголосовали 1022 делегата, против — 813, резолюция была принята без существенных поправок. Спецпосланник США по борьбе с антисемитизмом посол Йегуда Каплун назвал партию «лицемерной» и заявил, что Вашингтон сделает «представления» британскому правительству. Сам Полански заявил, что партия «не приемлет никакого исключения» людей по религиозному признаку.
