В тот же день Кэрролл отменил автограф-сессию в клубе «Дагенем» за несколько часов до мероприятия, сославшись на «непредвиденные обстоятельства». Сейчас Кэрролл является играющим тренером клуба «Дагенем энд Редбридж» из шестого дивизиона Англии.
