Нигерийский миллиардер Алико Данготе в понедельник, 14 сентября, открыл подписку на акции своего нефтеперерабатывающего завода — это крупнейшее первичное публичное размещение в истории Африки, цель которого привлечь 1,6 млрд долларов. В рамках месячной продажи инвесторам предлагают 4,1 млрд акций по цене 525 найр за штуку, минимальный пакет — 10 акций; листинг на бирже Лагоса намечен на ноябрь. Данготе назвал размещение «историческим днём» и заявил, что оно даёт обычным африканцам возможность стать акционерами проекта, а вырученные средства пойдут на расширение, которое удвоит мощность предприятия. По оценкам The Guardian, в случае успеха IPO состояние бизнесмена может вырасти на 23 млрд долларов — с 35 до почти 60 млрд, тогда как Коммерсантъ оценивает сделку в 2,1 млрд долларов за 3% акций, а France 24 оценивает всю компанию примерно в 49 млрд долларов.
