Хуситы захватили острова в Красном море и нанесли удары по Саудовской Аравии

Йеменские хуситы, поддерживаемые Ираном, захватили стратегически важные острова Большой и Малый Ханиш в южной части Красного моря, а также остров Перим в Баб-эль-Мандебском проливе, усилив контроль над ключевым морским торговым путём. Военный представитель хуситов Яхья Сари заявил, что удары по саудовским военным позициям будут продолжаться, пока не прекратится «агрессия» и не будет снята блокада с подконтрольных хуситам территорий. Хуситы также заявили о ракетной и беспилотной атаке на авиабазу в Саудовской Аравии, в ответ на что саудовская гражданская оборона объявила предупреждение о возможных атаках в районах Абхи и Хамис-Мушайта, которое позже было снято. По данным ООН, с июля в результате боёв между хуситами и правительственными силами были перемещены более 86 000 человек. Захват побережья Красного моря меняет баланс сил в регионе, усиливая позиции Ирана и создавая угрозу для поставок нефти, что привело к росту мировых цен на нефть выше 100 долларов за баррель.
