Microsoft объявила, что с ноября 2026 года облачный сервис Xbox Cloud Gaming станет доступен без подписки Xbox Game Pass: пользователи смогут покупать отдельные пакеты игрового времени. Одновременно компания вводит месячные лимиты на облачную игру для подписчиков Game Pass: 15 часов для тарифа Ultimate, 10 часов для Premium и 5 часов для Essential. После исчерпания лимита игроки смогут докупать дополнительные часы в Xbox Store, хотя цены пока не объявлены. Microsoft признаёт, что это «значительное изменение», но оценивает, что оно затронет лишь около 4% подписчиков Game Pass.
