Before her appointment, she worked as a senior communications adviser at Truth Social and appeared on Fox News and Newsmax. She replaced Karoline Leavitt, who left after the birth of her second child. Some outlets, including Handelsblatt and La Repubblica, have raised the question of whether Zacharia committed a criminal offense, but no formal charges have been filed.
