Ukraine: 33 dead in strike on aid distribution point

The UN human rights monitoring mission in Ukraine condemned the attack, saying it “appears to have violated the most fundamental principles of international humanitarian law.” Earlier, on November 2, Russian attacks resumed in the region after a six-day truce that had allowed a humanitarian mission to the occupied city of Oleshky and the evacuation of hundreds of residents. On the same day, Russian strikes also caused casualties in the Donetsk, Kharkiv and Sumy regions. On the night of November 4, strikes were reported on the energy sector in Kyiv. Different sources give the death toll as between 31 and 33, with later reports, including from Zelensky, citing 33 dead.
