Belgrade heating system tests to start October 1

Belgrade's municipal utility Beogradske elektrane has announced that functional tests of the district heating system will begin on Thursday, October 1, and last until Thursday, October 8. The company stressed that these are not “hot tests” and do not mean the start of heat supply, so radiators will remain cold. The tests are part of final preparations for the heating season, which officially begins on October 15 under a city decision on heat supply. The director of Beogradske elektrane said the company has completed extensive repairs and is ready for the season.
