US prepares sweeping sanctions against International Criminal Court

The move is linked to the ICC's 2024 arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and concerns that the court could interfere with US military operations. Anatoly Kapustin, a Russian legal expert, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta that the sanctions are unlikely to shut the court down as long as it retains support from major European countries.
