Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse demo launches October 1

Konami has announced a free demo for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, available from October 1 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. The demo will let players experience the opening chapter, and save data will transfer to the full version, which releases October 15. This is the first new Castlevania game since 2014’s Lords of Shadow 2, developed by Evil Empire, the studio behind Dead Cells. The story is set in a monster-filled Paris, following Rose and Trevor Belmont. According to GameSpot, the demo will take up between 3 and 6 GB depending on platform, with the smallest size on Switch and the largest on PS5. On Switch, the game will run at 30 frames per second. The announcement was made during Tokyo Game Show 2026.
